Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything. The only thing it stores is a theme choice, and that is not a cookie.

That is the whole list. It is stored on your device, never sent anywhere, and leaving the theme on Auto stores nothing at all. Because it is strictly a preference you asked for, it does not require consent under the UK's cookie rules — but you can remove it by clearing your browser data or switching back to Auto.
Advertising cookies
No advertising is running on this site at present, so no advertising cookies are set and no advertising code is loaded — there is nothing here for you to refuse yet.
If advertising is switched on later, it will be served by Google and will set cookies. It will not load until you have agreed to it, a control to change your answer will appear on this page, and this page and the privacy page will be updated before any of it happens rather than after.
A cookie and local storage are not the same thing
Worth knowing, because a lot of cookie notices blur them. A cookie is a small piece of text your browser sends back to a server with every request — which is what makes it useful for tracking, and why it is regulated. Local storage stays on your device and is never sent anywhere unless a script on the page deliberately reads it and transmits it.
This site uses one item of local storage, for your theme, and no script here transmits anything. That is not a technicality we are hiding behind: it is why the answer to “what does this site know about me” is genuinely nothing.
Checking for yourself
You do not have to take our word for any of this. In any desktop browser, press F12 (or right-click
and choose Inspect) and open the Application or Storage tab. It lists every cookie and
every stored item for the site you are on. On this one you will find no cookies at all, and a single
entry called theme if you have chosen Light or Dark.
The same panel has a Network tab, which lists every request the page makes. Every entry there should be this domain and nothing else.
Refusing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's own settings, which works whatever a site says. Doing so will not break anything here, because nothing on this site depends on a cookie.
Browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected here by default, in the sense that there is nothing for them to switch off. If advertising is switched on later, a Global Privacy Control signal will be treated as a refusal without your having to answer the banner.
